Sound Behavioral Health is growing, and we are hiring a crisis stabilization counselor in Seattle, WA to support families throughout North King and Snohomish Counties! Sound is one of King County’s most comprehensive providers of quality mental health and addiction treatment services, supporting our area’s most vulnerable populations. The crisis stabilization counselor supports individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health or substance abuse issues when they may be experiencing a mental health, environmental, vocational, or behavioral crisis. This person will provide community-based intervention and prevention services to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health care needs.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling during core business hours (7:00am-7:00pm) to meet the needs of the families we support.
Location: The primary office is located in the Lake City neighborhood of Seattle. This role will support families in North King and Snohomish Counties!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
KEY WORK RELATIONSHIPS
Establishes and maintains positive, ethical, and professional working relationships with clinical team members, clients, and outside organizations. Relates to a wide variety of people including members of ethnic and sexual minority populations, and is respectful of individual and cultural differences.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years of directly related clinical experience to the program as a clinician or case manager, and demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and treatment, preferred.
Direct clinical experience with minority and low-income individuals and families, preferred.

All Team Members at Sound working 40 hours per week will be eligible for the following benefits:
Compensation: $30.84-$34.65 per hour.
