SOUND Behavioral Health is growing, and we are hiring an ARNP in Seattle, WA! SOUND is one of King County’s most comprehensive providers of quality mental health and addiction treatment services, supporting our area’s most vulnerable populations. A central tenet of our work is Reaching Recovery, an evidence-based clinical care model.
This position is a professional-level position intended to provide psychiatric services in our agency through the prescribing and monitoring of medications, evaluation of psychiatric status, and consultation to non-medical team members. This is primarily a clinical position, and incumbents will spend the majority of their time seeing patients, with the same productivity standards and same scheduling guidelines as physicians.
This position is a full-time position that will be partially based out of the Capitol Hill clinic with the adult services program and partially based out of the Kent clinic with the intellectual and developmental disabilities program. There is also the option of a part-time position at either clinic.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
KEY WORK RELATIONSHIPS
Establishes and maintains positive, ethical, and professional working relationships with clinical team members, clients, and outside organizations. Relates to a wide variety of people, including members of ethnic and sexual minority populations, and is respectful of individual and cultural differences.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
At least two (2) years of previous experience prescribing psychotropic medications is desired, preferably in a community mental health setting.

To successfully perform the essential duties of this Job, an individual must be able to sit at a desk for four or more hours a day and use office equipment, including phones and computer keyboards, for four or more hours per day.
