SOUND Behavioral Health is growing, and we are hiring a clinical training coordinator in Seattle, WA! SOUND is one of King County’s most comprehensive providers of quality mental health and addiction treatment services, supporting our area’s most vulnerable populations. Under the Direction of the CCBHC Program Director, the Clinical Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementation and coordination of clinical training events including ensuring orientation of all new clinical hires to Sound behavioral health outpatient services (mental health, substance use services, IDD, reentry, co-occurring care, health integration, clinical screenings, etc..).
The Clinical Training Coordinator develops, tracks, and updates (as needed) training curriculum that meets CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic) and Sound training requirements.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: In office at the SOUND HQ office in Tukwila (6400 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, WA 98188).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
· Coordinate and deliver clinical training programs for new and existing team members, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
· Assess training needs through surveys, performance evaluations, and collaboration with clinical leadership.
· Maintain training records, track team members' participation, and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
· May provide training on evidence-based practices, clinical protocols, and emerging healthcare trends.
· Support onboarding and orientation of new clinical team members, ensuring smooth integration into their roles.
· Organize and facilitate continuing education opportunities, workshops, and certification programs for clinical personnel.
· Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and presentations.
· Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and assessments to improve program outcomes.
· Stay current with industry regulations, accreditation standards, and continuing education requirements to inform training content.
· Serve as a resource and mentor for clinical team members, providing guidance on clinical competencies and professional growth.
· Assist in quality improvement initiatives by identifying gaps in training and implementing strategies for enhanced staff performance.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Public Health, or related field required.
· Must qualify as a Mental Health Professional in Washington State. Current WA Licensed strongly preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience working within a Behavioral Health setting, preferably in a community-based outpatient setting.
· Demonstrated expertise with service standards set forth by SAMHSA for CCBHCs preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS
· Strong understanding of clinical best practices, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
· Ability to coordinate training sessions in both in-person and virtual formats for extended periods.
· Ability to assess training needs and design effective educational programs.
· Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant training software.
· Capacity to work effectively with diverse populations and foster an inclusive learning environment.
· Knowledgeable about CCBHC and Washington State Medicaid standards and regulations with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret manuals, bulletins, and policies issued by these and other relevant entities.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
· Washington State licensure as an LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, RN, or equivalent clinical credential preferred.
· Certification in program management and/or training and development, such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar, is a plus.
· Valid Washington State driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
· Must pass a criminal background check.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
