The SUD Clinician is part of a specialized team that provides substance use disorder treatment for people who are either self-referred or involved in the criminal justice system.
Interventions may be time-limited or longer-term, and will be part of an outcome-oriented treatment plan developed within an American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) framework, which includes periodic reviews for appropriateness of services, intensity, and levels of care. This clinician will work with the client's goals, to ensure their ability to become as healthy and engaged as possible in their community, using recovery language and principles.
