We are looking to employ clinicians to help clients address unhealthy and debilitating behaviors as well as overcome phobias, addictions, and traumas using the Reaching Recovery model.
The clinician's responsibilities include helping clients understand their behaviors, teaching clients how to change their responses to unfavorable situations, and assisting clients in developing healthier coping mechanisms. You should also be able to create personalized exercises and homework assignments to help clients adjust their thought patterns.

Ultimately, an outstanding clinician should be able to effectively communicate with clients to establish trust and accurately assess progress.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) Clinician works with adult clients with a dual diagnosis of a developmental disability and a mental illness and assists them in becoming as independent as possible in the community. Through the provision of a full range of case management services and service coordination, the Clinician assists clients in setting and attaining short and long term goals. The Clinician also serves as a resource for, and provides leadership to, other team members.

Pay Range: $29.94 - $31.47 per hour
